Brady’s Custom Arms is committed to providing quality products and professional services. Due to the regulated nature of firearm sales and custom work, specific refund limitations apply. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, returns, exchanges, and cancellations may be approved.

1. Firearm Sales – All Sales Final

All firearm sales are final once the firearm has been transferred to the purchaser. After completion of required documentation and lawful transfer in compliance with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), firearms cannot be returned or refunded except where required by law.

Customers are responsible for:

• Confirming model, caliber, and specifications prior to transfer
• Inspecting the firearm before completing the transfer
• Ensuring legal eligibility before initiating a purchase

If a background check is denied, the firearm will not be transferred. Refund eligibility in this situation is addressed in Section 3 below.

2. Firearm Transfers

Transfer fees are non-refundable once processing has begun. This includes situations where:

• The customer fails a background check
• The customer decides not to proceed with the transfer
• Required documentation is incomplete
• The customer is legally ineligible

Transfer services involve administrative time and regulatory compliance requirements that cannot be reversed once initiated.

3. Background Check Denials

If a customer is denied during the background check process:

• The firearm will not be released
• Any applicable transfer or processing fees remain non-refundable
• Refunds for the firearm purchase itself may be subject to restocking fees

If the firearm must be returned to a distributor or original seller, the customer is responsible for any return shipping and associated fees.

4. Special Orders and Custom Firearms

All special orders and custom-built firearms are non-refundable.

Custom builds, modifications, Cerakote work, engraving, or other gunsmithing services require labor, materials, and parts procurement specific to the customer’s request. Once materials are ordered or work has begun:

• Deposits are non-refundable
• Partial refunds will not be issued for completed labor
• Changes to project scope may result in additional costs

Estimated completion dates are not guarantees. Delays caused by supplier availability, regulatory requirements, or parts shortages do not qualify for refunds.

5. Gunsmithing Services

Payment for gunsmithing services covers professional labor and time. If a customer chooses to cancel before work has started, a refund may be issued minus any administrative or material costs already incurred.

Once gunsmithing work has begun, labor charges are non-refundable.

Customers are responsible for disclosing any prior modifications or mechanical issues before service begins.

6. Accessories and Non-Serialized Items

Non-serialized accessories may be eligible for return within a reasonable timeframe, subject to the following conditions:

• Item must be unused
• Item must be in original packaging
• Item must not show signs of wear, installation, or damage

Brady’s Custom Arms reserves the right to deny returns that do not meet inspection standards.

Certain items are non-returnable, including:

• Ammunition
• Optics that have been mounted
• Holsters with visible wear
• Clearance or final-sale items

Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee.

7. Defective Products

If a product is found to be defective, the issue may be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Brady’s Custom Arms does not manufacture firearms or accessories and therefore does not provide separate warranties beyond those offered by the original manufacturer.

We will assist customers in contacting the manufacturer when applicable.

Defects resulting from misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, or neglect are not eligible for refund or exchange.

8. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled prior to shipment or processing, subject to approval. If payment has been processed, refunds may be issued minus applicable processing or administrative fees.

Once an order has shipped or transfer paperwork has begun, cancellation is no longer permitted.

9. Appointment No-Shows

Brady’s Custom Arms operates by appointment only between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice may result in:

• Forfeiture of any appointment deposit
• Rescheduling restrictions

Deposits collected to secure appointments may be applied toward services and are non-refundable if the customer fails to appear.

10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback for a lawful and properly completed transaction may result in denial of future services. We reserve the right to provide transaction documentation to financial institutions in the event of a dispute.

11. Limitation of Liability

Brady’s Custom Arms is not responsible for:

• Manufacturer defects
• Shipping delays outside our control
• Regulatory denials
• Customer misunderstanding of product specifications

All refunds, if approved, will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

12. Policy Updates

This Refund Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in business operations or regulatory requirements. Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date.
